Fleur de Lis Drawing and Fine Art Graphics
This drawing is my first in a new series of fleur de lis and iconic symbols that I’ve just started. It marks a new beginning for me after years of working exclusively and intensively on website design and development. It is good to be back to my first loves, art and drawing.
This piece was originally done to promote my travel website Frenchtowner.com, and was featured in an ad in a regional arts and entertainment magazine.
I am proud to also offer this limited edition of 150 fine art giclees. The art prints are printed on 100% rag fine art Rives BFK paper with deckled edges for $95.00 each. The pieces are all hand signed and numbered by the artist. They can be shipped unframed and rolled anywhere in the world.
Please note, all sales are handled through Paypal and are processed through my Frenchtowner.com account.
The original of this drawing is available for $1,200.00. There are 5 artist proofs available for $150.00 each. If you have any questions just leave a comment below.

How can I help you?
John

John
Cathy,
I don’t write about French Antiques. Do you?
John
Hi John!
I am absolutely in love with this fleur de lis. It describes my personality on so many levels and is beautifully done. I am currently in Interior Design school and I have to come up with a logo. I was wondering if I could use your drawing design as an image in my logo? It’s basically for a school project but as I try and pursue my career, I’d love to carry it over onto my work. Would you mind?
Thanks,
Britt
Britt,
Good Morning.
Thank you for your compliments. Feel free to use it in your design. If you plan to use it commercially, I do have a license fee.
I appreciate the fact that you asked me. This image has been the inspiration for many things from tattoos to t-shirts. There was even one lady that simply copied and pasted the design as her own on products she was selling.
John
Bonjour John!
It took me less than 30 seconds to search and find my favorite Fleur de lis and it is this one! I own a painting company in LA and have used a generic Fleur de lis for 15 years as my logo and need to upgrade. I see here that I’m not the only one who’s head over heels in love with your design! Congratulations bro! So how much is the license fee? And can I get the Fleur without the white background?
merci beaucoup!
Peter
Hello,
I design invitations and a client of mine came across your fleur di lis. They absolutely loved it and wanted to have it as part of their monogram. They wanted to have the design inside the fleur dis lis to sage green, their wedding colors, do you have the image as a vector image? If so, how do I go about ordering it from you?
Hello,
Truly beautiful, I too would like to use it, if I may ~ for personal use.
Regards,
Claire
PS If you send me a mail I will reply with my personal letterhead
Your fleur-de-lis design has touched me deeply with its beauty. I have been on an unfortunate mission but it was made easier once I saw your design. I would like to honor my mother by using your fleur-de-lis at the top of her headstone. My mother’s grandfather came to the US from France, she enjoyed gardening and had a fondness for iris and lillies, and the example she gave of how to live life was noble and dignified. To me, the symbol reflects her life well. I have chosen black granite and would like very much to have your exquisite fleur-de-lis at the top. I think it would be very beautiful. I would be so grateful if you would allow me to use it.
I would also like to purchase one of your prints. I’ve never used paypal before but will investigate it. I don’t live too far from Frenchtown. Do you have them on display (and for sale) anywhere in town?
Thank you,
Jill
Hi, your drawing is amazing and i have just had it changed and tattoo’d on my back. I love the fluer de lis and this one is so pretty
John,
Hi, I am an Interior Design Assistant persuing my own business right now. I love this design and would like to feature it on my website and link your page with it. So if anyone is interested in buying it, they may through you! I will not be using it as a logo, just as a decoration. My maiden name is Stringfellow, so it was interesting to see the name behind this art piece
Please let me know if you approve and I will send you my website.
Thanks,
Nici
Hello John-
I am making my neice’s wedding invitations and she came across your Fleur de Lis and truly loves it!
Would you consider allowing it’s use as a rubber stamp image so I may use it as a background stamp in her wedding items?
Thank you so much, John!
Sincerely,
Pam
Hi John,
I’m wondering if I may use your drawing on my wedding invitation? I’m from New Orleans, so I’d love to incorporate the symbol of my city into the wedding however possible.
Thank you,
Emily
Hi John,
I, like so many others, fell in love with your Fleur-de-lis! I would like to use this design to have a window film made for my back door. I have found a company to do this, but since the design has a copyright, I will need your permission to use it.
I would appreciate your thoughts regarding this.
Thank you for your time
Julie
Julie,
I am more than willing to license the image for that, but I would like a modest fee.

God Bless You!

I absolutely love this fleur de lis. There are 4 in my family crest, and one tattooed between my shoulder-blades. My tattoo was inspired by your fleur de lis.
Trina,
Thank you. It is so good to hear from you. God Bless you. Where the heck are you?
John
