Fleur de Lis Drawing and Fine Art Graphics

This drawing is my first in a new series of fleur de lis and iconic symbols that I’ve just started. It marks a new beginning for me after years of working exclusively and intensively on website design and development. It is good to be back to my first loves, art and drawing.
This piece was originally done to promote my travel website Frenchtowner.com, and was featured in an ad in a regional arts and entertainment magazine.
I am proud to also offer this limited edition of 150 fine art giclees. The art prints are printed on 100% rag fine art Rives BFK paper with deckled edges for $95.00 each. The pieces are all hand signed and numbered by the artist. They can be shipped unframed and rolled anywhere in the world.
Please note, all sales are handled through Paypal and are processed through my Frenchtowner.com account.
The original of this drawing is available for $1,200.00. There are 5 artist proofs available for $150.00 each. If you have any questions just leave a comment below.

    Hi John!
I am absolutely in love with this fleur de lis. It describes my personality on so many levels and is beautifully done. I am currently in Interior Design school and I have to come up with a logo. I was wondering if I could use your drawing design as an image in my logo? It’s basically for a school project but as I try and pursue my career, I’d love to carry it over onto my work. Would you mind?
    Thanks,
    Britt

    1. Britt,
      Good Morning.
Thank you for your compliments. Feel free to use it in your design. If you plan to use it commercially, I do have a license fee.
I appreciate the fact that you asked me. This image has been the inspiration for many things from tattoos to t-shirts. There was even one lady that simply copied and pasted the design as her own on products she was selling.

  2. Bonjour John!
It took me less than 30 seconds to search and find my favorite Fleur de lis and it is this one! I own a painting company in LA and have used a generic Fleur de lis for 15 years as my logo and need to upgrade. I see here that I’m not the only one who’s head over heels in love with your design! Congratulations bro! So how much is the license fee? And can I get the Fleur without the white background?
    merci beaucoup!

    Hello,
I design invitations and a client of mine came across your fleur di lis. They absolutely loved it and wanted to have it as part of their monogram. They wanted to have the design inside the fleur dis lis to sage green, their wedding colors, do you have the image as a vector image? If so, how do I go about ordering it from you?

Your fleur-de-lis design has touched me deeply with its beauty. I have been on an unfortunate mission but it was made easier once I saw your design. I would like to honor my mother by using your fleur-de-lis at the top of her headstone. My mother’s grandfather came to the US from France, she enjoyed gardening and had a fondness for iris and lillies, and the example she gave of how to live life was noble and dignified. To me, the symbol reflects her life well. I have chosen black granite and would like very much to have your exquisite fleur-de-lis at the top. I think it would be very beautiful. I would be so grateful if you would allow me to use it.
I would also like to purchase one of your prints. I’ve never used paypal before but will investigate it. I don’t live too far from Frenchtown. Do you have them on display (and for sale) anywhere in town?
    Thank you,
    Jill

    John,
Hi, I am an Interior Design Assistant persuing my own business right now. I love this design and would like to feature it on my website and link your page with it. So if anyone is interested in buying it, they may through you! I will not be using it as a logo, just as a decoration. My maiden name is Stringfellow, so it was interesting to see the name behind this art piece 🙂 Please let me know if you approve and I will send you my website.
    Thanks,
    Nici

    Hello John-
I am making my neice’s wedding invitations and she came across your Fleur de Lis and truly loves it!
Would you consider allowing it’s use as a rubber stamp image so I may use it as a background stamp in her wedding items?
    Thank you so much, John!
    Sincerely,
    Pam

    Hi John,
I’m wondering if I may use your drawing on my wedding invitation? I’m from New Orleans, so I’d love to incorporate the symbol of my city into the wedding however possible.
    Thank you,
    Emily

    Hi John,
I, like so many others, fell in love with your Fleur-de-lis! I would like to use this design to have a window film made for my back door. I have found a company to do this, but since the design has a copyright, I will need your permission to use it.
I would appreciate your thoughts regarding this.
Thank you for your time 🙂

John, this fleur de lis is absolutely beautiful. I noticed on the page that two people said they got this tattooed. I’m studying graphic design in Florence, Italy right now and have been looking for the perfect fleur de lis to get tattooed before I leave this summer and I love this so much. I may just have to get it tattooed, too! I will let you know if it happens 🙂 thank you so much for drawing something so exquisite.

I have an appointment to get it this Tuesday! 🙂 It will be on my left hip/side/back. I am so excited. I would love to email a photo of it to you when it’s done!
        Thanks again,
        Brittany

    Hi,
I was in Las Vegas a couple years ago, and decided to get a tattoo. We went online, and came across your fleur de lis when doing a google search for “new beginnings”. I later researched this once home, and found out it was your artwork. I get alot of compliments! I had it put on the center of my back, and its a large piece. I love the detail. I just thought you would want to know that your artwork is permanently in my life.
    Have a great day!

I would love to place this art as a sign that distinguishes my house from the rest of the houses in my community. It is the same sign of my family crest. I would like to create it in wood…

I saw this when i was looking up a fleur de lis for a painting that i’m working on while i’m in therapy and this one just spoke to me. The painting isn’t going anywhere except inside my house but i thought that it was amazing and its helping my process and i wanted to say thank you for creating things like this to inspire us, and i was wondering if it was ok if i put this on my painting, and if so would you like to see it afterwards?

John, I’m starting a new small business re-purposing furniture and the artist that put together my logo used your Fleur de Lis – which I fell in love with. It fits so well with the french theme of my business – South of France Furniture Studio. I’d like to get your permission to use your artwork and find out your fee.
    Thanks,
    Emily

I redrew this Fleur de lis with a ribbon and last name for a friend from LA after coming across it tonight. It will be the first and last time, but it’s beauty mesmerized and inspired me to pick up the pencil again. I had to. -Drew
