Helpful NJ Fireworks Tips
- Always confirm the time and location of your chosen event. We sometimes make mistakes and sometimes displays are cancelled or delayed. Before you travel a long distance, check the details on the with the town or the sponsoring organization.
- Get there early and park so that you can get out easily. We always try to park as close as we can to a big thoroughfare. This might mean that you will have to walk a good distance to the event site.
- Leave early if you can. Have everything ready to go when you get to the finale.
If you want to help us and your fellow readers, please leave a comment below. There will be a lot of changes in this feature in the next few days with the thunderstorms and a possible hurricane passing us this weekend.
This is a story that we look forward to all year long and that we prepare for months in advance. We are striving this year to make the guide simpler and smaller. We’ve kept the descriptions on this page smaller and provided links to pages that give you more detail.
A new feature this year is our new Best New Jersey Fireworks Poll. Be sure and let us know who you think stages the best fireworks display in South Jersey.
We’ve been traveling all over Jersey for years photographing fireworks and we’ve included some of our shots from our travels. If you have any that you’d like to share, we would love to see them. If you want to contribute to the feature, please feel free to leave a comment below or contact us. We would love to hear your tips about fireworks and celebrations in your area.
